The Nostalgic 1983 World Cup Winning Iconic Team

One of my favorite actor Pankaj Tripathi will be playing the role of team manager in a cricket movie named 83 based on the nostalgic 1983 world cup winning iconic team.
The much awaited movie has been extensively shot in England and the talented Ranveer Singh will be portraying the role of skipper Kapil Dev.
A very interesting aspect of the movie is that The pace bowler of the iconic 83 team Sardar Ji Balwinder Singh Sandhu is with the team so that all the facts are presented well and most of the role of 83team stars are played by the children of the team members who were part of the then team like Sandeep Patil who is a good actor in Marathi and children of west indies players. Daughter of Kapil dev is the assistant producer of the movie.

Like the movie on MS Dhoni made a very good viewing by the general populace about MSD’s struggle and impact on Indian cricket.
Let’s hope the movie 83 creates the same magic as created by the iconic cricket team led by the legendry skipper Kapil dev which changed the face of Indian cricket team as first time we became world champions in one day cricket defeating the much fancied west indies team after scoring a modest score and no one gave Indian team a chance to win the coveted cup at the balcony of Lords, not even given a chance of reaching finals as Australia, England, and west indies were the powerhouse of cricket then.

But Kapil Dev Nikhanj and his team had other ideas who slowly and steadily build the reputation and self belief that when the world doesn’t give you even an outsider chance still you can succeed in life.

The success in winning 1983 cup prudential cup is not only winning about a trophy in a game but it inspires that you can achieve success in life with your modest resources also by working hard, self belief, teamwork, fearless approach. 83 win is an ode to the human mankind who stood tall against all adversities and triumph over them.
We are the proud Indians.
Time has changed but we Indians have the spirit to win against all circumstances.
